This week, my team and I attended the 1st Annual Reverse STEM Fair at the Howard Middle School. We presented to the students our research so far. Since we have not completed our prototype, we decided to use Code.org to show the students basically what we would be making. It was very interactive and fun. The activities on Code.org are mainly all children's game themed which made it relatable.

I also attended a dissertation proposal defense by a Grad student that is being advised by my project's advisor. His project is on how to allow drivers the ability to still use their car for a short period of time in the event that the vehicle is being remotely attacked. The purpose of allowing this functionality is to give the driver time to get to a safe place before the car is shut down completely. For example, if someone is driving on the highway while being attacked remotely, they would be able to drive to a shoulder of the highway to avoid danger.
